Herpes thoughts insanity please help
I am ashamed and scared to death.
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time 4.5 weeks ago. Away for work with friends drunk and hooked up w a stranger - friend of a friend of a friend. No condom and gave her oral. Ive had crazy tingling and itching all over my body but mostly my face. one slightly red bump under nose that itched and faded away in a few days. Also what looked like a mosquito bite on back of my leg. Other then that now a viral ear infection and head ache. Completely bugging out. Managed to get her number. Said she was clean and just broke off long term engagement and hasn't been with other partners for some time.
Not sure how truthful that is. Took urine test 3 days after hook up. Negative. Should that be accurate? Guess I have to wait 6 weeks for blood test? I have a 17 moth old and one coming in a month. So scared to touch my family, want to walk in front of a bus. How careful should I be around my family?

2" to the side of the shaft in leg joint red spot feels pretty irritated. You don't think that'd be concern. I'm sorry I'm just so freaked
This is not an area for a new herpes infection to show up but would be at point of contact like your pubic mound area or shaft.
Past couple days feeling irritated skin in groin where leg meets body. Just found a red spot kind of rectangle shaped didnt notice bumps but it s a little uncomfortable. Just worried about passing something to my little boy by mistake. Please help
Sorry Life360 only 2 days without posting. The past 2 -3 weeks I keep looking at this spot on the shaft of my penis because I feel a sensation. Did notice a skin colored small bump with a darker dot in the middle 2 weeks ago then didnt see it but realized now its still there. The doctor thought ingrown hair but it doesn't hurt although I still feel a slight sensation there. Any thoughts are appreciated....
I think your really stressed out. Constant facial itching is not a sign of any std.
Thank you so much life 360, and yes I've only had sex with my wife for 12 yrs other then this one. If I could please ask one more thing. Could this itching all over my face eyes ears nose mouth chin be from stress?? I've also had this viral ear thing headache for a few weeks.
Dont be overly excited about this you made a mistake and all will be ok. The chances you got herpe from a one time affair is quite low and if she did not have any sores at the time lowers the risk even more. With hsv1 oral, it needs direct contact like kissing to be at risk for passing not by drooling.
I appreciate that life360 my only concern is in the mean time being safe with my wife and baby. Saliva touching my face etc. any tips would be most greatly appreciated.

The testing times listed for each are correct. If your herpes test comes back negative your ok with the baby. If you contracted hsv1 or 2 oral it can be transmitted to your wifes genital area with oral sex.
The doctor at the walk in clinic said ill be good to test for these things at 6 weeks? Are they wrong? That's next week, I need to know now. My wife is having another baby in about 4 weeks. I love my family... I know what you think and I'm disgusted in myself too. How careful do I need to be with my family in the meantime? Besides no intimacy. Saliva etc w my baby boy? Thank you so much
If you had unprotected vaginal and oral sex and you have a family you need to get tested for all std,s including HIV. Refraim from intimacy with your wife till you get tested and are confirmed negative. Testing times as below.
Gono and chlamydia-----5 days
HIV and herpes----3 months
syphilis-----6 weeks
HPV---there is no test just keep an eye out for any warts that develop.

Hi again, and thank you for looking at my post. A friend said its just psychological and if I'm really worried take a 1000 mg lysine it'll also help my stress. Recommended?

I am a man, but profile says female. Traditional vaginal sex and oral sex. I felt something on my penis a week ago and noticed a clear dot. Couldn't find it, but now I see its still there. It's 130 am, I'm drive long a lot more then normal. I washed our sheets last night. Told my wife not to kiss me I think I drank from someone's beer who had sores. I'm going crazy. In my head I know I have herpes.
