Could this be herpes???

I hear that you can have herpes and not no it. They say the best way to tell is to have a sore looked at by a doctor because blood tests aren't always right,is this true? I have one bump near my vagina and i had a pimple on my thigh. Would it have been possible for the doctor to swab this? I also have tingling in my vagina, really only at night. I have always iched down there because i shave. My question is dose this sound like herpes to you? If it is,is there a way to not give it to my partner

don't shave until you've been seen so you don't risk making things worse.  follow up for testing for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally since you are having itching. You can pursue a type specific herpes igg blood test 3 months after the last time you had sex.

do you have a regular partner? if so, are they going to be tested for herpes too?

it's too late to test your symptoms for herpes if you wait for the 20th.

you need to be seen and get these looked at. make sure you also get tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too while you are there.

it's best to be seen as soon as you can for herpes cultures.

stop back and  let us know how your appointment went.
