Did your wife also have a blood test done for herpes at the same time as the culture?
A hsv2 igg of 1.29 is very low positive. I suggest you repeat your blood test and see if it's went higher just for curiosities sake. With your wife having a cultured hsv2 lesion it's likely to be a true positive for you but you never know so confirm it.
Most folks who have hsv2 orally ( which at this point who knows if you do or not not since you weren't able to get an oral culture done when you had symptoms ) also have it genitally whether they notice genital symptoms initially or not. The exception being folks who only have oral sex as their only contact. It's really not an issue in your current relationship with both of you presumably having hsv2 but something to keep in mind for the future should your marriage ever disolve.

Yes you can definitely spread it or get it again. I have "reinfected" myself many times, and it seems to me that with each reinfection, it gets stronger: have more outbreaks and takes longer to get rid of. Please be careful if you feel like something is going on (tingling, pain, whatever) and do not touch your sores and then touch somewhere else. I would caution your wife that if she feels anything, you shoudn't have sex. Since you both have it you need to make sure you dont keep reinfecting each other. Best thing is to keep yourselves super healthy! Best defense is a good offense. No alcohol, no caffeine, boost your immune system. Best of luck to you and please pray for a cure as i do, and i think they're close!
Hello
Thank you for the quick answer.
I had the following symptoms but I don't know if they can be attributed to HSV2.
Pharyngitis (Sore throat), Gingivitis, and fever at 6 weeks after exposure.
I had a regretfull one night stand, at first I thought it was HIV at test done at 6 / 7 weeks and 3 months all came back negative.
HSV2 came back low positive.
My wife had a severe outbreak she went to her gynecologist and he took a sample send it to the lab and confirmed it was genital HSV2.
I went down on her a week or 2 before her outbreak.
Thank you
So you haven't had any oral symptoms? Just a low positive hsv2 igg blood test?
How was your wife diagnosed as having genital herpes? What testing has she had?
