2.5 months swelling with no sores developing would not be related to herpes.
Maybe mention to your doctor about a Bartholin gland cyst or abscess. The Bartholin glands make a small amount of fluid that moistens the outer genital area, or vulva. If a Bartholin duct gets blocked, fluid builds up in the gland. The blocked gland is called a Bartholin gland cyst. If the Bartholin gland or duct gets infected, it is called a Bartholin gland abscess.
I have been tested and its all negative thats why I think I have herpes cuz they can't find anything else
I didn't take my meds today and already I feel burning is that normal? I don't know what to believe people keep telling me I don't have it but I know something is not right I just don't know what to do anymore...
Hi no they do not. Since you have hsv1 oral its close to zero you got it genital. Those that get it in both areas got it at the same time before antibodies were developed.
You test negative for hsv2 so your symptoms should not be considered herpetic and also having constant does not happen with out an outbreak.
I have not had one in like 7-8 years... I keep testing for hsv 2 I was tested at 4 and 6 weeks, (off meds) then at 14 weeks and again at 18.5 weeks (On valtrex) all were negative. I stopped my meds today. I just keep thinking I have this b/c of the constant irritation I'm worried I in fact have gotten hsv 1 in a new place now.. Do my symptoms sound like herpes outbreaks to you? I also get a crawling feeling down there like once or twice a day almost every day...
Hi, herpes outbreaks can be very unnoticable but since you tested negative for hsv2 it would not really be herpes related as contracting hsv1 genital would be next to zero risk since you have strong antibodies to help prevent it. Have you had any oral outbreaks with the hsv1?
