Does this look like herpes?

I had unprotected sex with a friend about 1 month ago.  3-4 days ago I began to notice a grouping of bumps/pimples on the head of my penis (only on the head and in no other area).  The bumps have not opened up and have not pussed.  There is an odd odor as well.  Unfortunately, I am out of the country and can't really go to a hospital until I return home as I am on business in a 3rd world country and don't trust any hospitals.  In the meantime, I really need to get an understanding of what I have. Some of what I have seems to be related to herpes and some of it doesn't.  I've attached a picture (best i could take as a reference).

This sounds more like something non-herpetic.  Since you are out of the country not much you can do about it now anyways. If it's still present when you get back home have it looked in to ( plus if it lasts more than 2 weeks it's probably not herpes anyways ).  Also you haven't mentioned these hurting. Herpes lesions almost always hurt when they are in that area.

irritation where your underwear is rubbing is probably just that - irritation.  Try some powder and see if that helps!

Two other things I wanted to add:

1) I also got sick 3 days after this outbreak.  This isn't a shock since a lot of the people that I am with have been sick

2) I have an irritation on the inside of my thighs where my underwear is rubbing. I've read that herpes can cause an irritation in this area.
