Does this sound like herpes?

About a week ago I shared a cigarette with someone (which was very stupid of me) not even sure if they have herpes or not. But now I have a small cluster of white bumps inside my lip. It started with a weird feeling in my lip and my lip got sorta swollen then I saw the tiny bumps on the inside of my lip. They don't really hurt, just some discomfort. They are now kinda red. I was reading oral herpes most commonly occur on the outside of the lip and canker sores most commonly occur on the inside of the lip. Does this sounds more like herpes or something else?

Your chances of contracting hsv from this is essentially zero. I wouldn't be concerned of herpes from this. If it progresses into fluid filled blister type lesions then have them looked at.
