Genital HSV1

Does genital HSV1 retreat back to the sacral nerve or back to the nerves by the ear?

You can have ob's anywhere in the entire boxer short area as we refer to it as - the area normally covered by a regular pair of boxers.  so yes, you can have reucrrences in the anal area even if you've never had anal sex or if your original lesion site was no where near the anus.

If the first outbreak was in my vaginal area, could a recurrence happen in the anal area? Or does it stick to it's original spot?

it stays in the sacral nerve ganglia when it's genital.
