i had protected sex with my girlfriend for less than 15 mins a week ago. After having a night of dry sex the next morning shaft of my penis has a half inch long bump that is lumpy. It doesnt hurt or look like there is fluid in it but but could it be genital warts? she said she got checked and was clean but i still want to make sure.
If you are just going to do blood tests then I recommend that both you and your gf go get type specific herpes igg blood tests. Just getting yourself tested isn't the whole picture and if this is a newly acquired infection for you it can take up to 4 months until you get answers without your partner getting tested too.

its starting to go away so i think it was just an irritation but i am going to get checked to make sure. Do they have to take blood?
The best thing to do is to see your provider and get this looked at. we'd be completely guessing as to what it is.
