HSV-1 blood blisters in the mouth??

Can herpes break out in blood blisters in multiple places inside your lip and on your cheek area or would there likely be another cause for that? I had 2 very noticable places (lumps) with one that busted & about 14 tiny blood spots in my mouth. With the larger ones, one was red, the other is black. My fatigue is also really bad. I've had outbreaks of cold sores on the outside of my lip for 20 yrs, but I've never had blood blisters in my mouth.

Hi, herpes travels up nerves to the surface and since nerves have many axons, it can appear in multiple areas. Since herpes prefers the path of least resistance, it does most often appear in the same spot. The issues your describing do not appear as herpes outbreaks as inside the mouth is not common and are not blood blisters.
If this happens again, you might consider having them swabbed to confirm if they are in fact herpes.

I've noticed some clear blistering in my mouth as well and my throat might have some blistering too, it's kind of sore. But doctor appt in the morning, not sure if they will swab it. but I'll ask.

Thank you.
