HSV 1 vs 2

Im really confused.  I have had genital herpes for several years.  I believe that is HSV-2.  I requested a blood test for personal reasons and the HSV IgG Ab Profile was run.  My results were HSV 1 IgG Ab was high and the HSV 2 IgG Ab was negative.  Why is my HSV 1 positive when i have never had an oral outbreak and for 13 years i have had genital herpes??  Im really confused on the 1 vs 2 now... does anyone have an explanation for this??
