you probably are right. ironically, me manhandling my junk trying to find something could have lead to injuries or irritations that lead to more doubt.
The problem is this: herpes if oftentimes described as HIGHLY contagious. This is what I read on related websites. Symptoms are oftentimes quoted that according to a lof of the info I've found on this website are not really indicative of herpes or only appear in certain combinations in herpes cases. It's really difficult to get something definitive, so at least I worry about it a lot. I've scheduled an appointment on monday with a urologist, let's see what he has to say.
this sounds like something normal you are noticing. really, call off the crotch watch and stop thinking you had to have contracted a std from this encounter. we recommend protected sexual contact for a reason - IT WORKS!!! No real reason to think you contracted anything from this encounter and nothing you've mentioned sounds std related either.

as an added question:
can a singular herpes bump/sore (i.e. not part of a cluster) ever surface without red itching skin around it?
How long does it take for bumps to turn into blisters?
I've found a bump inside my urethra 3 days (this may have been here all along, I dont really check this spot at all) ago and there is still no change.
Your correct about prodrome but not correct about your symptoms. foot numbness and a weird feeling in your arm are not symptoms of herpes but more a an injury from the act.
thank you for the answer, Life360.
I've frequently read that prodrome doesn't happen often with initial infections, but rather precedes recurrences. Still many websites list these symptoms as common for initial infections. Is there any sort of consensus on this one?
Hi, yest it to early and your symptoms maynot be psychosomatic, numbness and weird feeling on your arm could be an injury from the act itself.
