i just visited the doctor and she has put me in medication for herpes and I'm taking a blood test to confirm.

I just started seeing someone. I'm just wondering how soon you can contract herpes?

I had a lot of sex with home between Friday evening and Sunday morning the weekend of the 18th. Last Wednesday I started showing signs of lesions.

We had sex previously this month a couple times but this past week is the first time I'm showing symptoms.

This is my first outbreak.
I'm shocked. I don't know how to talk him either. Any advice is welcome

I'm just wondering how to go about discussing this with my partner. And wondering if it's possible he gave it to me and didn't know he had it either

They were white at first and now they have somewhat healed and are just red with an ulcer. They didn't present as blisters. They started as an open ulcer/lesion. They are slightly swollen and have a bump shape to them.

I also have a tear on my forchette from sex that looks kind of the same.

I'm going to wait for my results before i speak to him.

Just wondering how do I know who passed this on to me and if it was him. Wondering how long an outbreak takes to present itself for a first outbreak.

I also am under a lot of stress because I have an anal fissure so I know my immune system and diet have been compromised (I have lost about 10 lbs this week)

Herpes are not white lesions and i suspect this is as you believe an infection from shaving. This doesnot suggest herpes at all.

White lesions on my labia. The are itchy and burn when urinate. My doctor gave me medcine for herpes and a blood test with results. I originally thought it was an infection from friction during sex because I had just shaved and my skin is super sensitive.

What is the best way to tell him? We are kind of long distance and just stated dating.

Hi, tell us about your symptoms. First time outbreaks occur about a week or 2 after exposure.
