Herpes from Genital to hand to genital?

Is it true that there's no risk of herpes if someone was masturbating himself and then masturbated another man with the same hand? I have a small irritation spot but I'm hoping its caused by me rolling my foreskin everytime to check and washing in the shower.

Hey worried.  Also to add, herpes whitlow (finger herpes) is entirely rare because the fingers of the human body have thick protective skin.

Hi, and correct, no risk if he did not have any finger sores at the time.

I was masturbating another man and he masturbated me after masterbating himself immediately with the same hand.
