Hi,
Can someone please help.
My partner has a number of ulcers in her mouth. These started just over 3 weeks ago. They are very painful for her to eat and drink and seem to get worse at night. They are very small and white and not clustered. They are only on the edge of the tongue with one exception of one on the roof of her mouth. She seemed to get a few then a few more pooped up a few days later?
The only other symptom she had was at the very start she had a sore throat for a couple of days (not sure if that’s related or not). Is it likely that she is having a primary outbreak of oral herpes? She gave me oral sex about 6 weeks ago and I have never had any symptoms any time in my life. If it is Herpes is it possible I could have had this for 5 years and never passed it to her and then all of a sudden I passed it to her during oral sex. Or is it more likely if she has got it that she caught it from someone else.
She has no sores on the outside of her mouth and apart from that is absolutely fine. Is this likely to be herpes as we are worried, please help.
