Confused on results & symptoms

I recently got checked out by the doctor due to some red spots and pain in my penis when I pull my foreskin back. It first started when I would have relations with my wife my penis would feel dry and painful during intercourse. Then I notice red spots on my penis. I checked my symptoms online I found out about balantis. My symptoms match balantis to the T. So I went to my doc and told him I think I had balantis. He checked me out and said it was herpes without testing me. I was shocked because I have never been with anyone besides my wife and I don't have any symptoms of herpes.

So I got tested and waited for my results in 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks I showered 2 to 3 times a day and I might symptoms went away. I got might test results back, but my doctor seemed confused and didn't how to explain them, yet he said according to test I had prior infection but not a present one. Anyways here are my results:

                                                    NON-REACTIVE                              NON-REACTIVE
HERPES II IgG                                59.7 H                                                0.0 - 1.1

The results were obtained with the IMMULITE/IMMULITE 1000 Herpes I & II IgG EIA.

So basically I am confused that my symptoms are not herpes like. I am wondering if I should get retested somewhere else.

What was your hsv1 result?

Also please check your test results to see if you have the decimel point in the right place.

Also are you in the US?
