Herpes Help

Hi, I have a serious question
I'm a gay male and have been dating this other guy for about 8 months now. We started getting sexually active back in september. But we never had intercourse. Recently, I started to notice small white bumps around my pubic region. Kind of like whiteheads. and occasionally they hurt to the touch. and sometimes it gets sore down in my pelvic region. the guy ive been dating, previous to me, was sexually active, and i'm curious if i have genital herpes. I'm a virgin, but ive done oral and stuff. These bumps are annoying and it wasnt until recently that i heard that it may be herpes and now i'm really freaking scared. I occasionally do shave down in my pubic region, so idk if that's the cause, but would that cause painful whiteheads? and i dont have any bumps on my actual penis. Thank you so much, sorry if this seems overwhelming. just really worried.

It sounds like it's just an irritation from shaving. I'm a female, but that's happend before to me as well from shaving. I'm sure your fine but I would go get checked just to ease your own mind =)

Odds are this isn't herpes going on.  have you been seen yet by your doctor?
