Herpes Risk after fingering.

fixingitnow
I used my finger to stimulate a woman's vagina and afterward licked my finger not thinking. What is the risk of having an STD after this encounter. No actual sex took place.  I have had a fever of 103 seven days after the event with no lesions so far. I tested negative for the flu and have no sore throat, no coughing, just chills, fever, and body aches.

Thanks for your answer but I don't have the flu. I tested negative for the flu and negative for strep throat. I am dealing with a high fever, body aches, chills, and headaches. I immediately licked my fingers when I pulled them from inside her shorts. I wonder if it could be transferred that way. I have been to two doctors and they both are confused about my symptoms.

Your risk was basically zero. Herpes whitlow (Herpes irlf the finger ir hand)is very uncommon and you would certainly get a very painful lesion. You don't need to wory as your flu is not due to any std. That i am more than confident of.
