Is contracting herpes possible

I know I sound paranoid but today I noticed my barbers hand was peeling and there were a couple bumps. Didn't really get a great look at it. But I shook his hand after he finished cutting my hair and about 30 seconds later I peed and used the hand that I used to shake his hand. If it was herpes could I have passed it to my genitals and how likely is it that it was herpes. I didn't have any cuts or anything on my hand

You have been reassured this is not a risk. You are at no risk. No further comments will be made as there is nothing more to say

If the barber had finger herpes (whitlow0 he would not be cutting your hair or shaking your hands as the pain would be very bad. Whitlow is extremely painful.

Thanks for your response!
But also If it was herpes, is this even a plausible way of spreading it to the genitals

There's no way you have herpes bro. You have to come into contact with the sores. And vaginal or anal fluid I believe. But getting it from his hand seems highly impossible unless
