Herpes from Erotic massage?

About 10 days ago I went for a massage.  It was a proper massage, though the place didn't seem as clean as it could be.   "At the end the masseuse reached and stroked my penis. Afterwards I wiped the oil off with the hot towel.

About 2-3 days later I noticed that my foreskin was a little red, just in one place.  Then I experienced some tingling, discomfort over the subsequent days.   I began to worry that maybe I had picked something up from the massage (either the sheet I lay on, the hot towel or the masseuse) and this made me begin to worry.   Objectively my groin was uncomfortable, but I was thinking about it, and obviously worried.

10 days in I am still a bit red on the underside of my foreskin and have a few small white bumps (which to be honest I could not be sure were not there before), but no ulcers as yet, and it is not objectively sore (maybe a little uncomfortable but not the sort of pain some people describe during a primary outbreak).

When you read the story what are the chances I have herpes?   I understand sometimes it is mild, or that people don't notice.  I have looked at online forums and it seems unlikely source of transmission.

this was no risk at all for you. hand jobs are not risks for std's.

statistically 1 out of every 2-3 adults around your child has hsv1 orally.  That is the only risk to a child, not genital herpes.  http://www.ashastd.org/herpes/herpes_learn_oralherpes.cfm  has terrific reading on oral herpes for more reading.

Just her hand - was surprised to be offered, as it was not my intent.  It seemed an okay place, certainly in NYC.

If it is herpes any precautions with handling my kid who is about 1yr to 1.5yrs and still requires all that care.  Dont want to pass anything on.
