Queries about herpes infection..
I was told by my OB that I had herpes (i dont know, i thought it was just irritation) but it scared me psychologically..
So i have these few questions regarding herpes infected:
1)is this curable?
2)how come i was infected when my partner used a condom?
3)or is it possible that i was infected by other factors aside from sex?
4)how long will it last after living healthy?
5)after few mos/years, will i still infect my partner? May i know the specific mos. on when i can no longer infect?thanks

Hi, how were you tested and was it for HSV1 or HSV2?

My OB made genital examination, found with visible/ enlarged kulani o lymph node, i was sick at night and often with headache.
