Herpes or Not?
I get this from time to time but not on a set schedule. Seems very random i looked at herpes pictures and it doesnt seem like it. I doesnt scap up like herpes should...i can pop them as easily as a regular zit only a bit more painfull because it borders my lip near the hair area. I dont recall if the luqid was white or if there was blood after it, all i know is that when i pop it , goes away much more faster.
When i look very close it seems like 3 zits very close to each other and white head is forming up and yes, after a while white head does form up where you can pop it.(sometimes it just goes away without popping it) It doesnt itch , doesnt hurt(unless i try to pop it or press on it) it doesnt scab after i pop it either.(just like zit , just turns into a pump and goes away)
I am not a sexually active person neither was my gf. They dont happen monthly, very far away from each other as in time frame.I forgot that i used to get these because it took so long.I have oily skin/only face area. I used to have a pimple problem also. I just shaved 1 or 2 days ago also, maybe that?(didnt try to track if they were after shaving, because i only got them 5 or 6 times max)
Added a picture also, used flash so you can see the whites forming. Under lip might seem different colored but i was biting it so whites would seen easily.

Test results are back... i am Negative for Herpes Type 1. Both the blood and the swap tests are negative. Yay.
as an adult, oral herpes is almost exclusively transmitted through romantic type kisses. sharing a drink with someone isn't a real risk for herpes as an adult.
you needed to have a type specific herpes igg blood test done to know your own status for herpes. you and your gf can't make educated decisions about what precautions to take until you know who has what. lesion cultures have a high rate of false negative so follow up with blood testing to see what your status is if your lesion culture comes back negative.

Just came back... Doctor said herpes type 1 is not that scary at all and every living human has a very very very big chanse of getting it in their life time.That is if they dont have it by now...Most people get it when they are small and such.That the virus is inactive on most humans waiting for a time to pop up.
Anyway he did take swap sample from the zit looking thingy and took blood.
They will email me the result in 2 to 10 days.

If i have it, %90 chanse i got it from my girl friend. Because she didnt know cold sores were caused by herpes and that it was contagious. She shared bottled beer (only 1 sip) with her friend , i couldnt stop her doing it at the time.
Her friend had herpes on her lips for almost 4 days , i guess it was scabbed up at the time and had zovirax on it. My girlfriend doesnt show and didnt show any symptoms btw. It has been 1 month.
