Herpes or is it just anxiety?

I was intoxicated 3 weeks ago and ended up sleeping with a much older woman (50+ Possibly, not exactly sure) and during the encounter, the condom broke and I immediately pulled out. While that makes me scared about an std on my penis, My real concern though is that we kissed and for maybe 5 seconds I began to perform oral sex on her before stopping myself. As I said it has been about 3 weeks, and for the last 3 or 4 days my lips Have been feeling weird. Kind of a itchy or burning sensation but not really... There's no sores or blisters visible or forming but I know I have been biting my lip unconsciously due to the anxiety and overly examining my lips constantly (my genitals as well). I do have some papules on my lip but I've always had them, but now that I examine cosnstantly I notice them more and I feel like something is there but the fact I'm so conscious of my lips now expecting something to be there I feel like my anxiety is just making me feel these sensations along with nervously biting my lips. I plan to get tested at the 6 week mark to be sure but based on just a weird  sensation on my lips should I be worried this woman gave me herpes?? Or do they feel weird bc I keep examining and biting them and making them tender from it??? Please advise/help, its driving me crazy!!

Your screen name says it all. Testing needs to be done at 12 weeks. I don't recommend testing for this exposure. Your lip issues are not herpes related. The risk you had from giving oral sex would be hsv2 and hsv2 is very rarely an oral infection. It doesn't like the oral cavity at all. You can rest easy as your risk from kissing when no cold sores are present is so extremely low it doesn't warrant much concern at all.

Thanks so much for the reply!  It's just that when I had looked up symptoms they say it can go unnoticed and the symptoms are very broad. To make matters worse a sensitive red bump had appeared on/near my mouth/lip, though I have recently shaved, even so my stomach sank in paranoia. I'm watching it to see if it blisters, the bump has been there for 2 days. I still plan to get tested ASAP as I still fear I may have something and would hate to spread it to anyone else.

You can get a pimple on the lip. What you describe screams pimple and not hsv lesions.

I highly doubt you caught hsv1 from the brief kissing and you can really rule out hsv2 from an oral sex. The overwhelming odds are in your favor

Again, thanks so much for the reply, your advice honestly helps alleviate a lot of the stress I've felt. So as I mentioned I have been watching a reddish bump on my right upper mouth area near my lip I had gotten, it Started around Tuesday and just this morning I awoke and the bump had formed a white pustule. Herpes info online says it can be confused for a pimple or vice versa so naturally I worried. Anyway, after touching/breaking  it (I put on gloves, yes I'm paranoid) in addition to some more solid white it also had clear fluid as well inside( also a tiny amount of blood) which has also been said to appear with herpes. I've had acne like this in the past but I had one friend tell me it certainly looked like herpes because it was so close to my lip so that got me worrying more. It was just the one bump, no cluster. This is about 4 weeks from the possible exposure, and the past 2 week or so I had been feeling like my lips felt weird/tingly due to paranoia and constant examination or lord knows what. Then this bump appeared after a clean shave (not normal for me) and after four days or so it was white with clear fluid inside. Trying to tell myself it's all coincidence and I'm being exactly what my username suggests but i fear otherwise (friends aren't helping matters, guys are not known for sympathy and compassion haha). Again, thank you THANK YOU for all the help and advice!
