Herpes or not- please help!

Hi there! I was hoping someone would be able to offer some friendly advice!

I had a nasty uti back in February and went to the gum clinic for a check up. Was tested for everything and was out in antibiotics to clear up. Went back also at 3 months for repeat tests. Everything negative. My problmem is other than a small skin tag, and a bit of soreness that has now cleared I have not had any lessons, blisters or herpes looking symptoms, but I've been having terrible nerve pain on my genitals and down my legs, and spasms in my bum cheeks, it's a tingly horrible feeling that comes and goes. Right now for the last 5 days I've had horrible tingling, and no other symptoms.

I've seen countless doctors, Gynos and gum clinics but can't get an answer. I'm currently on amitripline  to help but I'm really worries this could be genital herpes even though the people I have seen have highly doubted.

Is it possible to get ongoing nerve pain in your legs/genitals for this long without any obvious outbreaks?

Thank you !

Also I'm 23, female and before my uti had no problems down below!

Tingling is a symptom of nerve damage or interference. You could have an MRI. You can have the herpes to rule it out but tingling from herpes should not last more than a few day before a sore development

If  your having nerve issues that tingle and go down your legs, it may be a spine disc injury.

I'm booked in for an MRI scan next week, really hoping all will be okay

Do you think there's anyway that my anxiety over possibly having herpes could make my symptoms worse?

I suffer from anxiety and stress, and since reading everyone's posts on nerve pain related to herpes I think it's made me worse, it's constantly playing on my mind! But I just don't know what else could cause my genital and leg tingling. I'm hoping to get answers soon as it's been such a long ordeal back and forth.

as I type my nerves all over my legs and feet just feel like they're going crazy, I check myself thoroughly daily, do you think it's possible I could have a sore/blister hidden that I am unable to see?

-thanks so much for your time

I read that tingling/nerve pain can be a symptom, feel like I've exstausted all avenues, I don't know what else it could be. is it worth getting a herpes blood test? as I haven't got/had lessions to swab

-Thanks again
