Herpes symptoms after protected sex with a sex worker

Hi,

I had protected oral sex and sex with a sex worker in Amsterdam's red light district about a week ago. After I was done I asked her if she gets tested. She said she would never have sex with anyone without a condom and goes for a test every 3 months.

I noticed some burning at the edge of the head of my penis with hours, I thought it may have been "friction burns". Within 2 days of that I had sore groin on both sides. I'm not sure if this was due to the fact that my encounter was rather aggressive or my lymph nodes had been swollen.

I visited a Dr. In the country I'm travelling in, which is a developing country. The Dr did a physical exam of my groin and penis. He said the groin did not have swollen lymph nodes but feels like swollen muscle. As for the penis it looked like friction burns. He did prescribe me a bunch of test.
Now about less the a week I still have pain in the groin feel like muscle fibers are swollen, don't know if it lymph nodes.
And I'm also having a warm tingling sensation in my inner thighs.

I have no blisters in the genital area.

My questions are

1. Are my symptoms similar to herpes or any other std? From me searching online it's says herpes.

2.what do swollen lymph nodes feel like, do they feel like muscle fibers? I cant feel any nodes mostly, swollen muscle.

3. What other symptoms should I keep an eye out for if I did going to have an outbreak. I don't have any other symptoms at the moment.

4. Also what are the chances of trsmission of single exposure with protected sex. I know herpes is skin to skin contact too.

I have read tingling sensation before an outbreak is usually recurrent symptom not the first. Is this true?

How soon can I do a test for herpes and HIV? I am really worried if it's an std, I have never had one we if it is something incurable it will change my life for the worse. Really worried sick.

Thanks

First off, nothing you said suggest Herpes or any other STD. Sex is physical and when you're doing it, you will get sore areas around the genitals all perfectly normal. The best thing you can do is use condoms so that being said, you are fine. My other point, asking a prostitute if she is clean is sort of worthless. Treat her as if she is infected and take precautions (like condoms) and not grinding too much since that is how Herpes is transmitted. My suggestion for everyone is after you have sex, take the condom off very carefully so that the outer layer doesn't touch the pee hole and fill it with water to make sure it wasn't compromised at all. I have never had one break before. They are pretty durable but checking it will give you peace of mind.

1, 2, 3 and 4: You did not get herpes from your protected encounter. If the condom did not break, the odds you caught herpes from this encounter are probably in the ballpark of 1 in 10,000. The odds you caught HIV if the condom did not break are probably around 1 in several million. You did not catch herpes or HIV from this encounter. You can take that to the bank.

Thank you for your response. I have never had a condom break before so it never occurred to me to check if it had broke. I pulled it off and I did not feel anything leak. Hopefully it was intact.

How obvious are symptoms of herpes? I have a cold that started couple days ago , no fever. And the head of my penis is itchy.it was itchy and sore right away after the encounter. It went away and came back again today. I'm quite stressed about it.
My results from my blood work came back and it was all negative. But I think it maybe be too early to tell. I have read I have to wait at least 2 weeks or 3 months to find out if I have anything. The Dr examined my penis couple days ago and said I was fine. He said maybe my penis was chafing as I had trimmed pubic area. I am curcumsized so I had my head exposed to the pubic area. I don't have sores on the head of the penis but looks slightly bumpy. I don't know what that is.
Let me know your thoughts. I'm planning to do another test soon as I get back but it won't be for couple days. Thanks
So I have bumps on the head on my penis. They are a little irritated. Not fluid filled sores. Just a kind colored irritated bumps. I don't know if they will turn into sores or not?  At the edge of my penis head, it's also irritated. I'm reading anything from herpes to dermatitis to fungal infection.

I just don't know how obvious are symptom?
The Dr had said it could be irritated as I had trimmed my pubic area. Also the weather is warm and humid here.  He also said that he couldn't feel any lyphm nodes in my groin. I'm quite concerned as I didn't check if the condom had broken. My anxiety level is pretty high right now. I don't know if this is herpes or not. What are these symptoms am I having? Does is seem like a std like herpes or anything else?
Thanks
It's been 14 days after my encounter. Today I feel tenderness and see redness underside of my urethra (pee hole?). My skin under one penis head seems inflamed. I have constant burning or discomfort. I'm still not sure what this is, I don't see any blisters or lesions of any sort.

Does the redness turn into blisters?

Where my skin is inflamed, under the head of the penis, seems oily or shiny. Does it indicate a fungal or bacterial infection?

Could it be herpes? What other symptoms are obvious in the first outbreak?

My groin on the top and sides on the pubic bone was sore and inflamed about 2 days after the encounter. The Dr checked to see if there were any lymph nodes that were swollen but he didn't feel any. Said it was muscle inflammation. Maybe cause of rougher sex.

Other than herpes what could this be?

Thanks
Today, it's been over 2 weeks. I'm back home. I feel warmth and tingling in my legs and groun. Had one episode of diarrhea. The penis looks like it has a rash and hurts when it rubs off my underwear.  It's bumpy rash on the head of the penis. No blisters or sores filled with fluid. My lymph nodes in my neck are somewhat hard or swollen. Don't know if it's because of my cold I just had.

My question is

Are these symptoms of herpes first out break or HIV?
