Post on this one.
But if you are going to ask more herpes questions post in the Herpes forum please. But you really should not have anymore herpes questions because no matter what a kiss on the cheek is not a risk.
Ok. Thanks. If I have anymore questions can I post on this? Or start a new one?
skin to skin is when having sex.
I understand that. So what does it mean when they say it is contagious from skin to skin contact? I have read you can get it from a kiss on the cheek. Then have read it would have to be on the mouth.
You don't get herpes on your cheek.
It was just above her lip line on the top. She said she got it the day before and that it wasn't open or oozing. When she kissed my child it would have been farthest from my child's mouth. But it is in saliva also. Again I don't think it got on her mouth. I had sanitizer on my kid within a minute of it happening. You still think my child wouldn't get it? What about skin to skin contact with it?
Upper and lip and cheek...not the same place. it is not a risk.
