Herpes or ?

I've had a previous suspicious episode of herpes with very painful blisters on my penis about 18 months ago. After a couple of episodes of unprotected sex I recently felt very unwell with fever, backache and general fatigue and went to get tested for everything - all negative so far but now i've developed flat purplish-red spots on the glans of my penis. Very rarely does it feel itchy or uncomfortable but I'm not sure if all of this could be a herpes flare-up or if I should continue to panic waiting for my HIV test in 3 months time? Also my doc didn't want to test for syphilis - is that a possibility?

you have to specifically ask for a herpes test and only swabbing the area can tell you if it is hsv1(oral) or hsv2(genital) other wise the doctor will not test for it syphilis can be a possibility but i do think it can be cured with penicillin i hope every thing will be fine but herpes is very painful and you can auto infect yourself if you touch the area and then touch any other area of your body. 1 of 3 people have herpes and the other percentage do not even know they have it also it is still possible to spread herpes even if you are using a condom and are not having an outbreak
