Herpes???

About 3-4 weeks ago I developed a small blister(about the size of a pencil eraser) in the fold of my skin-between my groin area and thigh. The blister doesnt appear to be waterfilled, just a hard and toughlike.
I've got a a history of jock itch and athletes foot(which I cant help but scatch at times), but I have never developed this type of blister. It has been here for amost 4 weeks and doesnt appear to be going away. I am sexual active so an std could be a possibility.
I havent had any outbreaks on my penis, so I'm wondering if scratching a fungal infection might produce these?

A hard and toughlike blister doesn't sound like a blister. Don't pick at this any more either - see your provider for proper diagnosis and treatment.

You need to continue following up with your urologist for the penis bleeding issue. this isn't normal but it's nothing we can help you with here.

Me again....yesterday I started to pick at my "blister" and tried to tear it off. Well most of it came off, and bled.  I dont have anymore blisters anywhere else, but I just cant help but wonder what the cause of this is. I've been back and forth to the urologists to check out blood from my penis during bowel movements.-then i was tested for chlamydia/ghonnerea/and hiv. All negative. I was diagnosed with prostatitis at first, but after the DRE exam, x-rays, Bph, and many urine specimens, the doctor found nothing. Nothing at all.....but I have blood coming out of my penis only during bowel movements!
I started megadosing on prostate pills a few weeks back and the blood ceased. Well Yesterday and the day before I only took 1 pill and the blood came right back!!!!
I know I have jock itch, which tends to itch even with the use of lotrimin.  I've had this blister for 4-5 weeks and its still sort of there. I have another appt. with my urologist next month, but I cant wait that long to hear advice on what these problems may be.......

Sure, an std is a possibility, and you need to get this checked out by your doctor.

Its not terribly likely to be herpes as its lasted 4 weeks already, but you need to get it checked anyway.  Any new symptoms always warrant seeing your doctor.
