Ulcer on penis shaft/root
I have ulcer around root/shaft of my penis. Its been like this for the past 5-7 days. And itching and little bit of pain and not healing fast. Is it herpes or what? Please help me.

Just 1 intercourse with safe partner 7-8 days ago. That person have no symptoms of any kind. There is no pain unless i touch the ulcer, sometimes small itching feeling
Very much worth getting an immediate swab. Herpes is a possibility, although I'm not sure I see the more typical red base and blisters. I see more of an inflamed moist surface from a fungus or bacteria.
