Does this sound like Herpes?
Hi, 5 days ago I had protected sex with a stranger. as soon as I finished I started feeling a burning sensation inside the roof of my mouth. I just thought it would go away by the next day. in the morning of the next day the burning feeling still persisted and I really did not think that symptoms of an STD can show straight after sex. throughout the day the burning started getting worse and now I started getting a burning sensation in my tongue and the lips. The next morning I noticed that the burning still persisted in my mouth and lips and also I started feeling a burning sensation and itching in my, feet, legs, thighs and genitals. I did not know what was going on. I quickly booked myself for an appointment with my GP. I explained him my symptoms and he said that it is just an fungal infection on the lips and he gave me an Anti-fungal oral gel. and for my genitals he gave me hydro-cortisone 1%. the itching has gone now but the burning still persists in my thighs and lips. there are no blisters on my lips and they look normal but I have noticed tiny white spots in my pubic area. I popped one and only blood came out. Would you know what this is? I have been really anxious about this and that's when I feel the symptoms a lot. I have noticed when I don't think about it I can't feel the burning at all. In the morning I don't have any symptoms. Could this be Herpes? :(

Hi, It has been 10 days now since my encounter. I still have a burning feeling in my thighs, legs and feet. The small spots have not increased size since when I noticed them at first. There is no pain when I touch them but it does get a little itchy sometimes. I have showed these spots to my GP and he said it does not look like anything worrying. He prescribed me with antibiotics, allergy tablets and anxiety tablets. I have not had flu like symptoms or any enlarged lymph nodes in either my groin or neck. My lips still burn a little bit at night but there is no visible bumps. However my bottom lip has been very dry for the last 2 days but maybe that is because I kept licking/sucking it.
As a general rule, herpes sores run a 2 week cycle but are not white puss filled. Burning legs is a symptom of a pulled muscle not herpes.
Hi, today my legs and feet have been burning on and off. the burning has been going on for 6 days now. the small spots in the left side of my pubic area seem to be filled with something white and hurt a little when I touch them (pain rating 2/10). However it seems like the spots are disappearing slowly and there is no itching. would herpes symptoms last this long?
Yes it would appear that your anxiety is causing unnecessary concern. Herpes are not under the skin red and white bumps but topical open sores or razor type cuts.
Thank you for a quick reply. What would an initial herpes outbreak appear like? I have just looked more thoroughly and it seems like there are small red and white dots they are barely visible and I first noticed them yesterday. They have not increased in size and they do not itch at all since I have been using the hydrocortisone cream. Do you think it is the anxiety that has caused this?

Even though hsv1 can shed on the breast area, its is unlikely you contacted it from your affair. Also the risk for herpes from protected sex from a onetime incident with no vaginal sores at the time would be next to zero.
Do the tiny white dots appear as a herpes outbreak? No they do not.
