Does this sound like herpes

On the 7th of April I had unprotected oral and vaginal intercourse. Roughly 3 days later I felt a throbbing in my penis. I also noticed slight burning in my urethra after urination. I saw my healthcare provider the 10th day after the sexual encounter. Inwas screened for the usual STDs Gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphillis and hep A,B, and C. My healthcare provider gave my an antibiotic shot and a powder that I had to make into a drink. All STD tets were negative. This did nothing to ease my symptoms. I began to notice a burning sensation on the inside of my right thigh, a few days later same sensation on the inside of my left thigh. I had no redness no blisters just the burning sensation. I also have a little pain in my left testicle. There were a few occasions where my urine flow seemed weaker than normal. The burning sensation has been mild and went on for a month. Made an appointment with the healthcare provider again and she told me it did not seem like herpes because I did not had any sores or blisters. Coming up on 2 months since the encounter the burning sensation comes and goes I will be fine for a few days then it comes back for a day. I have an appointment with a uroligist next weeks but my mind is driving me insane.

It doesn't sound like herpes at all. It could be anxiety, which is causing you to focus on things you wouldn't normally focus on before, but it's good that you have an appointment with a urologist. Ask for a digital prostate exam. It's possible you have an inflamed prostate, which would NOT be caused by herpes.

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. If you are not hydrated enough it could cause some of these symptoms.

Best wishes.
