I now have genital herpes....

So, awkward enough...I didn't even get to enjoy the sex lol. This past weekend, I went to go see someone that I have been talking to for three months. Before I do anything sexual, I ask the guy if he is negative and if he has been tested recently for all stds. He told me yes, back in June and everything came back negative. I told him ok, well I won't have sex with you until you show me the results, which he said sure. Well, he did not have the results but told me this week he will get them from the docs office. We did have oral sex, which I am a male as well, and I did not see anything wrong with his penis. While we were having oral, he told me he wanted to have anal sex with me. I told him no, but then he flipped my legs up and put his penis on my asscrack and asked if I liked the way it felt. I told him yeah, but you aren't going in there and moved him off of me.

We took a shower and went out to eat. Next day, gave him oral again, still nothing on his penis, and then I left back home. After 4 days, which today is the 4th, I was in the restroom and proceded to do my check up for anything weird...usually what I do after I do anything sexual. I noticed a very very dark red spot on my ball sac...but is not fully visible yet. This sent me on a lil panic attack and I went to look in my anal area. When I looked, I noticed two red areas, with one having a white pus looking thing in the middle, in the crack between my thigh and butt cheeks. I also noticed pimple like red dots on my *** cheek on the same side that are very much further away from these other two spots. I am freaking out like crazy  now....I do not usually get pimples on my *** and these bumps kind of hurt/sting. Though, they aren't bumps...more like flat areas...as of right now.

This is stupid though....if it does turn out to be herpes, I didn't even get to enjoy having sex!!! Nothing was wrong with his penis both days and only had his penis in my anal area for a little bit protending to **** me.

So, now I am somewhat worried. I say somewhat because I have freaked out many times in the past, which I am sure you  know Grace, and it usually turns out to be nothing. However, this time, I think it is real.

I do have a few questions if it turns out to be herpes.

1. How will I be able to masturbate?? I don't want to get herpes on my hands, so do I have to use a glove??

2. Going #2? How do I prevent from rubbing these sores with my hands? Should I also wear gloves so as to avoid spreading it?

3. How do I shower now? I dont' want to use bar soap or a sponge or whatever in that area and rub it around and spread it even further!!!! What do I do? I am sure I will also wear some gloves, but I am paranoid now that every red dot I see in my boxer region is herpes!

4. So then, if it is true that 90% of people that have genital herpes do not realize that they have it or show signs of it, does that mean that may be true for me? As in after this first outbreak, will it be likely that I will be one of those people who won't show signs of it again?? Or is that just a fake statistic that is getting my hopes up? =(

5. I read that trial vaccine you posted as well, Ms. Grace, but is it to prevent breakouts from happening again but you still have the virus? Or does it just lesson the time it takes to heal from one or to help  prevent other people from becoming infected?

So, I guess I will update a bit. Two  of the main dots I was looking at in the crease have mellowed way down on Friday and kinda look as though it scared me. However, now the other one on the other side of the crease became a little redder and there is another one there now too close by.
If it were herpes, wouldn't it all go away together or would more still pop up?
Also, it doesn't tingle, burn, or itch so do those symptoms have to occur with the red spots if it were herpes too?

Well, i've had a regular heat rash that only lasted an hour which was just a blotch of red skin with no bumps and def did not have one that lasted almost a week. What this looks like, doesn't look at all like a heat rash, but doesn't really look like the pictures of herpes I have seen online in that area either. But, I don't want to be one of those people who mistook it for a pimple or bugbite and it actually being herpes.

Pretty easy to spot the difference between heat rash and herpes. You've been seen, you had a proper evaluation and the odds that you contracted herpes were very low in general.
Instead of thinking not reassuring in general, why not think "phew" and be happy?

Well, I just got it looked at today by a NP. She told me it is probably heat rash since it is in the crease and that it doesn't look that red. However, when I looked at it earlier today, it was the same color as it was yesterday lol. Well, I would think heat rash wouldn't last for days like this...plus, i've never seen it look like this before; like a pimple. I showed her the other two red spots on the right butt cheek but she didn't say anything about those either. Though, she did tell me if it gets worse or bigger or something, to go back and get checked out....not really reassuring. =(
