Is 36 hours too soon?

A few days ago I gave unprotected fellatio to a man of unknown status. This occurred at about 3 a.m. Fast forward exactly 36 hours and I had a white pus filled pimple (I think) and a couple of bumps under my lip that looked like they could possibly been razor/friction burn. I've read before that the onset of herpes is usually 2-12 days with 3-6 days being the average. If I had contracted herpes, would 36 hours be too soon to have full blown blisters? Would I have to have prodome and skin reddening before the blisters would show up?

Hi first of all most genital herpes are hsv2 and hsv2 does not prefer the lip (oral ganglion) and if he did not have any blisters on his penis at the time you can rule herpes out and to answer your question yes its to soon so show up and they are not white puss filled

Also, the bumps could've been there anywhere between the 24-36 hour mark. I woke up at 3pm that day and it was the first time I saw them.
