Is it true that you can't be reinfected?

My partner and I both have HSV1. Mine is oral. Assuming hers is also oral, is there any risk of spreading it to her genitals by performing oral sex on her?

Does it make a difference if she has never had an outbreak?

Hi yes its true you cant reinfect the same type to another area
