Is this a form of genital herpes?

I'm a 21 year old male and am scared that I have genital herpes. 6 days ago I had oral sex (nothing more) with someone and didn't notice any kind of spot/cold sore on or around her mouth at all. Problem is that I've developed a  red mark on my foreskin, and I'm now terrified that I might have genital herpes!

The sore itself doesn't seem to be a blister, but more of a red mark with one tiny whitehead on it. I thought this may be due to masturbation (creating a friction burn) but am worried that it might be something more serious!

My main questions, then, are these:
1) Could herpes become apparent on the genitalia so quickly after contact?
2) Would this potential 'outbreak' appear in the form of a single red mark as opposed to lots of 'sores?'
3) The red mark isn't showing the symptoms of itching or burning, could this be a sign that it isn't herpes?

What do you think??

this doesn't sound at all like genital herpes going on.

have you ever been tested for herpes before to know your own status?

make sure you use a good sex lube for masturbation. you really should be kind to the lil guy :)

always protect yourself and have protected sexual contact! It protects you, saves you testing and saves you worrying.  oral sex is not safe sex and it's worth protecting your health!!

have you had your gardasil shot series for hpv yet?

Best bet is to go to a health clinic and get it swabbed while its still there. The sooner the better. Sounds like it could b just a ingrown hair since u dont have itching or burning.
