Lip and Gum pain, pain on tip of penis

8 1/2 weeks ago I had unprotected oral sex performed on me. I also kissed the girl. Approximately 12 days following I felt a soreness on my penis and a small sore in my inner bottom lip. I was prescribed Levaquin 10 days followed by Doxicycline (5 days) minimal relief or change. I was further prescribed valtrex, prescribed for twice for thirty days followed by once a day. I did not receive any noticeable OB, just some white looking spots on my outer lip below surfice and some sores inside my lips, sore gums and the roof of mouth. I feel some pain in the very tip of my penis and have recently begun to feel slight pain in my right testicle.
I was tested for HSV-1 type specific approximately one month after initial contact. Results were negative. What should be my next step? Should I wait another month for another blood test? Continue with Valtrex? Get another diagnosis? Could it be something other than HSV-1?
Thank you. You help is deeply appreciated.

it's not likely to be due to herpes. return to your provider with your new symptoms for further work up.

I currently have the same slight redness and pain near the external urethra opening of penis, which varies from day to day, hour by hour in intensity. Is it common for an initial HSV-1 outbreak to carry symptoms such as sores in mouth and this penile pain for a month or longer? What else could it be?

you should stop the valtrex.  it was inappropriately prescribed for you and at this point is just keeping you from getting accurate test results.

should you get a return of genital symptoms, be seen again for follow up. otherwise wait another 2 months before repeating your igg blood test.
