Massage Parlor Sex

After a major lapse in judgement, I went to a massage parlor yesterday and had sex with the masseuse. I had a condom on and the sex couldn't have lasted more than a minute. I am so very afraid of contracting herpes. Yes, I know I should've thought of that before I went. Can someone please tell me what my risks are?

Continue to work with your provider at this point.  There isn't much we can say.

I hope I'm not being a bother. I had a urinalysis done and it all came back normal. I noticed however, that the underside of my penis opening is a bit darker color and slightly sensitive. I have been drinking water, taking cranberry pills. However I still notice some slight stinging after I pee. I can't be certain if the area just below the opening has always been that color or not. It's not red necessarily, but more like a light purplish brown. It's a bit sensitive to the touch too.

drink lots of water to keep your bladder well flushed out. if the pain gets worse or continues for more than a few more days, see your provider for a proper work up.

To briefly add on to my last post, later this afternoon I also developed a tingling sensation on the inside of both my thighs. It seems to extend down to the inside of my lower legs too.

Hopefully this is my last post on the subject. I am now 11 days out from the incident and have not experienced any lesions or anything that could be attributed to other STDs ... I think.

The only problem is intermittent urethra discomfort/pain and brief episodes of a sharp pain on my penis. It is not constant and does not hurt to the touch. I feel like I need to pee constantly but not much and doesn't burn when I pee. Afterwards it still feels like there is urine in my bladder. Took a urinalysis and it seems to have come back normal.

I'm worried that this is an STD that is still manifesting itself. If it were a UTI wouldn't it hurt all the time when I pee?

Thanks, I'll try to ignore them. Out of sight, out of mind? Just pain and urination problems. Got it.

I'd call off the crotch watch and get a new hobby. the more you look , the  more you find as you've already noticed.  Don't look at your genitals unless you have pain that you can't ignore or when aiming when urinating. no more specifically checking things out!!

try to keep busy so you stop focusing on your genitals :)

I feel like this is driving me nuts. I keep checking for spots, sensitivity, new developments etc. I can't tell the difference between what's supposed to be there and what might be new or what appears to be new but has been there all along.

For instance, I keep thinking I've got new darker areas on my penis head, along with two very tiny but not red or painful dark dots, almost like a freckle. But, again, they could've been there before.

I also feel like I'm getting phantom pain in my penis where I feel it, but then if I touch it, there's nothing painful.

Do any of these things sound normal? Should I not worry unless I see the regular, red bumps and open sores, or could I have contracted something else maybe?

yes you are probably over reacting :)

So, am I over reacting due to limited exposure? If I don't get any symptoms within 2 weeks am I probably alright?

not for 3 months.

I feel like getting tested would definitely give me peace of mind. This encounter happened 48 hours ago. How soon can I be tested with definitive results? I hope the worst of it is this fear/guilt that I have for doing something so dumb.

odds are you are just paying a heck of a lot of attention to your genital area right now due to your concerns over the encounter. Also usually they use massage oil on your penis and that too can be irritating.

follow up with your provider as needed. this was very low risk in general.

The only thing I can say is that the skin on my penis has felt a little sensitive on the right side. No redness, or bumps, or anything like that though. However, I kind of feel like since I'm so paranoid that it's just me being ultra heightened to any little thing.

A one time encounter is a low risk.  If you get symptoms be seen within 24-48hrs by your provider.
