Stressing over this open lesion, what is it!?!?
Hi , i have been with my partner for 6 months now and almost a week ago things got pretty hot and heavy. The next morning when i woke up and felt like i had got a cut down there. I didnt see anything but the next few days i felt a tingling sensation and it burned whenever i rubbed the area. Yesterday i didnt see much execpt i was a bit red from being irritated. Come today, i have an open lesion that hurts and is leaking yellow fluid a bit. Im so afraid it may be herpes and ive never had this before. Some forums are saying i have the symtoms but i havent seen any blisters which confuses me a bit. Please someone help ease my mind !!
My advice is to go and have it swabbed. Hsv can present as a papercuts type lesions but this looks more like a tear. I would again have it looked at for your peace of mind
