Is my herpes outbreak getting worse?

I'm on week three of my primary hsv1 outbreak and it has been absolute hell. Beyond imaginable pain but most of the blisters are finally healing. However, I seem to be getting very small new blisters constantly and it won't seem to stop. My skin in the area is dry due to the tea tree oil I have been using. I have a patch of red itchy skin and am worried that it is another outbreak coming. Could it be dry skin or is this the start of a new outbreak? I'm very worried as it has been so hard for me to deal with. Also the healed sores are red spots on my skin. Will these spots go away?

Hsv1 primary outbreaks can be absolutely awful. Many folks end up in tbe emergency ward. It may take a bit for this to stop. The good news is hsv1 genital infections have fww outbreaks and many people only get a few and then they stop.
I am sorry to hear about your pain. The red spots will heal fully in time
