Don't worry about the numbers, even if you have a .10 or a .80, you are stil a NEGATIVE and don't have Herpes.
While at this, Grace can I ask you a question pertaining to Jasons' doctor's remark that a 1 time exposure unprotected sex is less risk to Herpes, what about a 2-licks and 3-4 strokes of oral sex on the penis? Does that considered "safe" as well?
Thanks.
Toby
Thanks Grace, I doubt I would have missed an outbreak with how hard I've been looking. I am actually starting to paint my home next week and not looking forward to it.
as closely as most of the posters here are watching their genital areas, it's not likely they'd miss obvious ob's. Trying to move past it and enjoy the rest of the summer is certainly a terrific plan!!!
if you like painting, I"m looking for volunteers to help....he he he
Thank you grace and mistake guy for your patience with me. I think it's time I stop being such freak about this and enjoy the rest of the summer. I mean no signs or real symptoms and I have been freaking out and obsessing over this 8 weeks now. I had one accidental unprotected encounter and I act like my world was ending. In my mind I am negative and in sept I may go for another test but if I have no symptoms I may put this behind me for good.
you would've already had your ob if you were infected. it occurs within 2-20 days after being infected.
the changes in your igg results are meaningless. you can get differing results like that just from testing twice in the same day even.
Thanks grace what does the IgG test test for? When I saw .92 I immediatly thought it was antibodies, that I have hsv1, and every day for 8 weeks my count has been slowly climbing. Is having a equivicol result something I should be concerned about or is it
nothing to worry about and has no corelation to whether I will test positive at 12 weeks?
