PLEASE HELP.
Basically, I learned that I could possibly have herpes a few weeks ago. I had oral and anal sex with only one pertison three times. I wasnt aware that he had a girlfriend so I contacted her to tell her what had happend. She then proceeded to tell me that she had herpes and that she believes she had gotten it from him although he has never showed symptoms.
The girlfriend also gave me Valtrex from Kaiser but a lot of people (including teachers) said it might be all a lie to scare me away from her boyfriend. I dont know what to believe since it had the sticker with her name on it.
I am only 17 and have not shown any symptoms at all. I went to the teen clinic and was checked three times, inside and outside the vagina. She said she didnt see anything. I suggested that it might be "dormant" and she said she still didnt think I have it. Is there even a possibility that I could be safe from it? Does anyone suggest to still get tested?

I've now got a red spot that has just appeared about five minutes ago. It doesn't feel like anything but it hasn't gone away and I'm panicking. Is it herpes? It feels like one hard lump so I'm not sure if it is a cold sore or not. Help!
I have a bump in my mouth that resembles a pimple...it only occurred from a regular bump that I bit into. It doesn't really hurt unless I mess with it for long periods of time...kind of like adding friction to skin. It is red with a white pimple like center. Is it herpes?
since you had unprotected sex, you certainly should be making sure that you follow up on the proper std testing at the proper times. you can be tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia and trich after 1 week post encounter if you haven't already been tested. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months. You never want to have the herpes igm testing done. don't let them waste your money like that in the future!!

always protect yourself in the future and only have protected sexual contact! The younger you start to be sexually active the higher your odds of contracting a std in general and it's just not worth the risk or the worry of unprotected sex!

Both my igg and igm test results came back completely negative...its only been over two months since exposure but my derm and teem clinic lady said they believed I shouldnt be tested again. Can I possibly get your opinion on whether I should be tested again after 3 months?
So it would be continous pain? I went to my derm today and she ordered me an IgG test and IgM...of course she knows its only been a month but i'll get tested again in three.
herpes wouldn't cause you symptoms for that short of time. if it reoccurs, be seen for an exam.

I havent been taking the Valtrex. Its just in case I have an outbreak which I havent. I've gotten all the other std tests and they were all negative and i'll take them again in a few months. I'm just really nervous. The only one i'm nervous about is herpes. The teen clinic lady said that I shouldve had an outbreak from all the stress and accutane since it depresses the immune system. I seriously hope i'm safe from it.
since you've had unprotected sex, you need to properly test for std's at the proper times. You can get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea and trich any time after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months. cover your bases properly - your future fertility could depend on some of those tests!

I have gotten my HPV shots. I had protected vaginal sex with him the first and second time but he wasnt protected when I performed Oral Sex. The third time, I was on my period and so we tried anal and oral unprotected. I know i'm at risk but is there even a possibility that I could be safe? I'm praying that I am. Would you recommend me getting a blood test?

have you had your gardasil shots for hpv yet?
is it likely you contracted herpes from just having sex 3 times with a partner? it can happen but overall the odds are pretty low.
