Please Explain Symptoms? Very Concerned!

I am a 23 year-old uncircumcised male. I made the mistake of having unprotected sex with an older woman (aged 34) We have had rough sex, multiple times, and she was on her period.

This occured Sunday morning around 5am. I usually keep the head of my penis covered by foreskin; I only pull it back when I have sex. This time, i left it retracted.

I got home Sunday morning, I slept all day and did not shower. I woke in the evening, only to go back to sleep. I woke up Monday afternoon around noon, and showered, and decided to pull the foreskin back over. It was very painful and difficult to do. I started getting an itching sensation shortly thereafter.

That night, I start feeling a burning/tingeing sensation down there. The next morning (Tuesday), I developed a small, elongated lesion on the tip of my foreskin. It was neither bumpy, nor clustered like the pictures of herpes I've seen. It was on the inside of my foreskin, not visible, only when i pull back my foreskin.

It is rather shallow, redish/white, and one elongated blister like lesion. It does not hurt when touched, just a little sensitive and sore. I immediatley went to the local STD clinic to get it checked out. Doc said at first it looked like herpes, but when she went to take a culture, I told her it didn't hurt, and it didn't seem to puss, or burst as she went to apply pressure to it. She took a syphilis culture, and initial lab work came back negative. She checked my fever and lymph nodes and everything seemed fine. The only symptoms I had were burning/tingling, a slight discomfort of testicular area and upper thy, and occasional abodimale pressure, along with an intense, pungent odor.

On Wednesday, I developed red pin sized dots on the head of my penis, along with some white cheesy crust under the head when the foreskin was pulled back. For about a day, I lathered my penis in warm water mixed with baking soda. I then started putting bacitracin on the sore. By Friday, the redness of the sore had subsided, and almost no pain in or around area. Friday night, after showering with soap and applying more bacitracin, the pain returned, along with discomfort in the left area of my groin.

I am concerned that because the blister is on the inside of my foreskin, it is not exhibiting the typical symptoms of herpes. It never got really raised or filled with fluid, but there is a slight discomfort, burning of it. Nor did it seem to rupture or release puss, although it was a little wet, probably due to urination. Can someone please explain what happens in cases of herpes when they appear on the inside of the foreskin??????

I did get good advice, but if you've ever had signs of symptoms, you'd know how difficult it is to sit and wait for test results. I'm reporting my story here to get some other opinions, friend, to hear what other people have to say. Maybe someone has had a similar experience and can shed some light.

Age was divulged in the interest of full disclosure. I don't know, my first experience with this, and I don't know if age has anything to do with it. Maybe older women are more likely to carry the virus...I don't know. My apologies if I've offended you or anyone, but I see no harm in asking for additional advice.

You got great advice from Dr. Hook in the other forum (when you posted 3 days ago). Why are you reposting your story here? Do you not trust a physician who has years of experience with STDs?

I don't quite understand why you felt it necessary to post the age of your partner, or the relevance of her age to your story.

i should also say that i can't say ive been exhibiting the "typical" symptoms, ive been taking my temp at least 5-10 times a day, fever has not exceeded 99, and when it is, it is only so for 2-3 minutes. no body aches or pains, no tingling throughout my body, just discomfort in my abodmen, testicular, upper thigh area. and the redness of the sore comes and goes.

yes she did both...we're both awaiting results...and losing our minds in the process.

the blister appeared before the soap or bacitracin, but the bacitracin seems to help, it brings down the redness. does it help typically releave herpes sore?

Did she also do a herpes culture, or just a syphilis culture?

However, this could be caused by an allergic reaction to your soap and the bacitracin, which is not meant for genital use.
