I'm a 28yo bisexual male, 2 months ago gave protected oral to another man also mutual masturbation, rubbing of penis together. A month later had unprotected oral with female, got tested @ 7 days, neg, tested @ 14days, neg. about a week after last exposure, have pain in testicles/ lower ab and irritating but not itchy rash on penis, sore throat, small spot on upper lip white and not painful. Afraid I might have herpes, went to urologist, said rash was nothing, diagnosed prostatitis, gave me 1g dose of anti-biotic and 2 weeks of cipro. Rash didn't look any worse but was giving me a burning feeling. Went to dermatologist (today), also said rash wasn't herpes. It's been 3 weeks now and still have rash, seems to get better then worse on and off. Still have spot on lip (white and slightly raised but not a sore). I have had herpes tests in past and had one positive for HSV1 maybe a year ago and since, 2 negative. My questions,
Could the first herpes test I received a year ago have been a false positive?
What are the odds that the rash and pain in testicles are unrelated?
Could I have both oral and genital HSV1? or HSV2?
What else could the rash be if not herpes?
Will the initial herpes outbreak always show sores? How long will it last?
Is it possible to get a spot on your lip and in genitals at same time?
Is there a test that will show herpes without waiting?
