std? or not

Close to 6 weeks ago i had unprotected sex with girl i didnt really know. About five days after i noticed a small bump on the head of my penis. The bump didnt hurt or wasnt sensitive. the next day i started to feel discomfort in the gential area, no discharge, but it felt like i always had to pee when sometimes i didnt. THe discomfort went away after that day but i was worried so i went to a clinic about 2 weeks after the encounter and got tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia, and they said the results would be in, in 2 weeks. They said they would contact me if there was a problem and they havent yet and its been about 3 and a half weeks, so i think im ok there. Also one of the ladies that worked at the clinic took a look at my bump and she said it didnt look like herpes but maybe a bruise. so i thought i was ok until about 5 weeks after my encounter, the skin on the head of my penis started to dry up, now i have had this happen before but it would go away after a day or so, but i still currently have the dry skin and its been about a week and it still hasnt healed up, i should also mention that it gets worse when i masturbate so i have stopped doing that. Sorry for the long question but what do you think? any opinion good or bad would be great thankyou

First of all any unprotected sex is reason enough to get tested,if you are worried about Herpes you will have to ask to have this test done as it is not part of routine STD screening,it doesn't sound particularly like Herpes but I think you should see your Doctor and ask why this is happening but also go along and have a Herpes test at the STD/GUM Clinic too just to err on the side of caution .......
