Please help, thanks!

Hi, its been awhile since Ive here, but this is a serious case.  Just yesterday, a girl Ive only know for a week peformed unprotected oral sex on me and I did the same for her.  Unfortunately, I didnt ask her about her sexual health at all, until afterwards.  She told me that she had genital herpes, but she didnt state whether or it was HSV-1 or 2.  I was wearing a condom, but I am very concerned I know that she is a drug addict seeking help in a rehab facility, but I dont know when she was checked last, so I dont know if she has anything else, which also scares me greatly.  Lately, I have had bleeding gums, but they dont usually bleed unless I brush them, or bump them.  My lips are dry and and sting somewhat, but I dont know if that means anything either.  I dont know what my real chances of catching it really are, since she had no sores there, and she has also told me that she has never had a breakout before and her previous boyfriend did the same, but he never contracted it.  I am really concerned about this, so if anyone has any kind of info they can hand out, I would be extremely greatful.  Thank you all very much for you time.

Dear Grace

Sorry about earlier, I'm just trying to make sure and see to sense of this could really be.  Im also looking fo some clinics in the Brazoria and Harris County Area that do Herpes testing.  Ltely nothing has really happened, except itching and discomfort in the groin and anal areas, but no sores or anything.  Ive heard the incubation period is a bout 2 to 20 days, but Im really wondering when the best time is for me to get tested.  Im not trying to annoy anyone but I know very little about this so any info is appreciated.  Thanks

no reason to panic.

Your encounter was just yesterday so obviously the bleeding gum issues aren't related. same goes with the chapped lips.

Your risk of contracting it are very low and you are worrying way too much about this.
