Possible Throat Herpes? fever/sore throat/mouth sores

I gave oral sex about two weeks ago and thought everything was fine. Then last week I had a root canal and even then things seemed fine. The dentist told me to rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide and salt water. Then about four days ago I got a terrible fever, up to 102, and the chills and body aches. But I slept through it and was fever-free the next day. However, the next day the slightly sore throat I had became one of the worst I've ever had. It is hard to swallow and it seems one of my lymph nodes in my neck is swollen. There are also small sores in the back of my mouth and in my mouth and on my tongue. Is this herpes? Please please help!

If you're asking if you got herpes from this procedure, certainly not. It could be coincidental that you have a viral infection, or strep. And yes, it could be herpes, but again not from this procedure. Clearly you need to be seen to know what's going on.

Most probably not. chances are this is just a regular sore throat going on.
Still, it would be ideal for u to be seen by a doctor, to learn the cause of it - bacterial or viral, and get the right treatment.
