Help please

About 4.5 weeks ago I received head from a very risky women. I haven't had any symptoms of herpes yet but still nervous that I do possibly have it....... Please someone help. What are my chances of having herpes from recovering oral from a woman that lasted about 1 minute long? And I haven't had any outbreaks yet either is that a good sign? Do I need to be tested?

Hi, if she did not have any lip sore at the time the risk would be quite low as shedding does not occur that often and getting it from a one time none lip sore oral would be nothing to be really concerned about at all. I assume no condom was used.
Also since upward of 60% of the adult population would test positive for hsv1, chances you may have hsv1 from childhood which would have antibodies to help prevent it.
Should you test? If you are sexually active testing would be recommended for the protection of others and for sure if you have a long term partner.
