it can take up to 3 weeks until symptoms occur but really you shouldn't be thinking herpes from this encounter.

this is anxiety most likely more than anything. you received unprotected oral sex that was brief in nature. it's really low risk. don't convince yourself otherwise.

best advice is, put your penis back in your pants and don't look at it unless aiming to pee!!!  You are your own worse enemy at this point!!  unprotected oral sex is a risk for std's regardless if it's a sex worker or not. always only have protected sexual contact so you don't worry like this!!

How are u it's been 8 days now going on 9 and no crazy symptoms of herpes I am just having lower back pain and itchy pewbs. Can that be apart of symptoms. I still have been going crazy and stressing and thinking about it a lot u think that could be why I am feeling this way?

I have been feeling a little sick but still nothing showing down below do u think it's from anxiety because when I don't think of it I don't feel anything.

Glad we could help.

Also glad you got scared a little.  Leave those CSWs alone.  It's never worth the risk(s).  Generally, neither is sex.  Find a good girl.  They're out there.

yeah, a shorter exposure is less risky.  I don't have any stats that speak to specifcally how much lower the risk is with an encounter that didn't last long vs. one that did.

Keep this in mind.  Zero symptons is a great sign at 5 days.  A great sign.  Honestly though, no one is ever "clear" of herpes until they take the tests long after the last exposure.

HAVING SAID THAT, if you were my brother, I would tell you not to worry about it.  The odds are heavily in your favor that, even if she did have oral HSV (like most of the world does), you didn't catch anything.  I would recommend not testing... and that is NOT advice I normally give anyone.

Take care

And if it really last a minute can that be better for me?

No never that I know of. I went to my doctor and he took a look and didn't say anything, when will I be cleared if I don't show any symptoms? I am very nervous.

You're not clear yet... but receptive oral is generally considered to be low risk.  Have you ever had cold sores (on your lips, I mean)?
