I can only suggest that you are not getting complete testing or diagnosis here. Return to your medical providers for the full details.

I think the HSV2 diagnosis is questionable and the rash could be Zoster. Either way you need more comprehensive medical assistance.

I had multiple test done the nurse said I had past all of them then I came in again a week later and a different nurse said I tested positive for hsv2.

OK we need all the information here.

Is the blistery rash above the waistline. If you wore a pair of boxer shorts, would this cover the rash?

What blood test did you have that suggested a HSV2 diagnosis?

Seems like the swab was tested for HSV1/2 at a guess. Confirm this and now ask them to use the sample to confirm type.

Its on my right side of my lower back. It was a swab and it did not say hsv1 or 2 just herpe simplex virus. How would I even get that on my back?

Where exactly was the blistery rash?

When you say a sample, did you have a swab of the lesion or a blood test or both?

Is there anything more on the paper, such as HSV1, HSV2 or Zoster for example?
