Recurrent EBV and HSV1

I've been suffering for the past few weeks with severe dizziness and tingling sensations all over my body and a constant dull ache in my coccyx. I'm feeling really unwell and wonder if it could be a reoccurrence of EBV (Glandular Fever). Which doctor would I need to consult regarding this? GPS are pretty useless.

Hi. I know this is an old post but I'm wondering how you've been doing. You discussed nerve pain in another post and I'm experiencing that right now. I was recently diagnosed with HSV2 and the nerve pain has been worse than the OB. I personally haven't found any lesions or blisters, but the nerve pain is constant.
Have you experienced any improvement?

Thanks and best wishes.

I doubt this has anything to do with hsv. I hope you get this straightened out. Please keep me posted on your progress.

No. I have just found out that I was misdiagnosed. It was not herpes, it was LGV Chlamidya.
You've had LGV for 6 years? Or you found out you had it and were never told?
The sores were LGV. The pain was LGV. I was misdiagnosed and the swabs never returned Chlamidiya. I have been very unwell and had a blood test which was positive. I knew it wasn’t HSV because of the change in periods, the pain and acyclovir didn’t work. It didn’t even look like herpes. Absolutely furious.
Wow, I'm so sorry. I hope you get better very soon.
