Red bumps and pimples in pubic hair that has spread to penis and lower stomach. Is this Herpes?

I am a 19 year old student and roughly a week ago I noticed several red spots which turned into bumps in my pubic hair region.  This was several days after my first time being with my new girlfriend, and it was unprotected.  She has already been checked and was clean before school started this semester.  The only other girl I had unprotected sex with before her was a girl I had hooked up with 3 times about a month before, all unprotected.    Being a little scared, I asked her and she had told me she was checked 3 months ago and has only had sex with two different guys since then, me being one of them.  Before her every other girl i was with i used a condom for the most part.  I washed my pubic area very thoroughly that week and the red bumps started to seem to go away.  Then after a rough Friday night with my girlfriend where we had sex three time in one night, all unprotected, I woke up the next day with red bumps now forming at the base of my penis, moving up the shaft and up towards my stomach. The bumps on my penis resemble a pimple very much and most of them are able to be popped, showing a white head.  These include some of the bumps leading up to my stomach.  No amount of washing or soap has stopped the spread.  Doing research, suggestions show herpes as the most fitting disease, however i haven't noticed any discharge, unusual fatigue, flu-like symptoms, lower back pain, painful urination, tingling sensation, or enlarged lymph nodes in the groin area.  I am going to an STD clinic this Friday but was wondering if I should be as worried as I am that I may have Herpes.  They occasionally itch, but mostly in my pubic hair.  Whatever it is, it seems to be spreading fast, up my shaft and towards my stomach.  I am scared to death that this is herpes and incurable.  Please, any help in diagnosing my problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

your student clinic doesn't do std testing? what a waste that is considering the population they are serving :(

you need to go and be seen. this could be a std or it could be a fungal infection or even folliculitis. your campus clinic is a good place to go for this.
